Dripping pressurised hot water cylinder?

Many home owners know that a boiler, oil or gas, benefits from a thorough boiler service but we find that not so many appreciate that a pressurised, also known as unvented , hot water cylinder needs an annual check over. The safety features such as the temperature and pressure relief valves need checking and the air gap in the expansion vessel may need recharging from time to time. Otherwise – dripping from the ‘overflow’ and perhaps from the valves too and replacement work on valves and the diaphragm may be required . Why not ask your boiler servicing engineer to check the pressure in the expansion vessel while doing your boiler.
